Carrie McClain is the Assistant Vice President for the University Community Office on the Health Sciences Center campus. She provides collaborative leadership with the OUHSC academic deans and other campus leaders to strengthen the campus' initiatives to increase the diversity of the student body, faculty and staff. She oversees the divisions within the University Community office and works closely with the Student Services offices in the OUHSC colleges, Student Affairs, Human Resources, and with OU Norman campus resources.
Carrie earned both her Bachelors and Master’s Degree from the University of Oklahoma in Human Relations. Following completion of her Master's, she became a Licensed Professional Counselor. Carrie is a member of the American Counseling Association and the Oklahoma Counseling Association. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Infinite Possibilities.
